COMPANY OVERVIEW

The Oil Mining Company holds oil shale leases in the Uintah basin in Utah. Efforts were made prior to 2020 to develop an economic process for extracting oil and gas from these areas. Since the suspension of those efforts, TomCo’s focus has been on the mining of oil sands at Vernal and on the extraction of in-situ oil from the same property, owned by a third party Tar Sands Holdings II. These current efforts are being pursued through Greenfield Energy LLC (formed in 2020 initially as a 50/50 JV, between the Company and Valkor LLC, a global EPCI company). At present, TomCo owns 100% of Greenfield, but this may change as the partnership with Valkor develops.
